Collaboration Post 2

In my Arabic class, I enjoy many of my conversations I hold with my peers. Since we’re all relative beginners, it’s fun to learn by making a bunch of mistakes and looking up certain words/concepts mid conversation. Some times none of us make sense and forget the obvious, but I think this helps with keeping such ideas in our heads more permanently than simply reading things off a textbook. As the semester has progressed, we have all become better Arabic speakers and through this intense process of trial and error, the language as a whole is starting to make much more sense. Nowadays, whenever I read out the Quran or listen to Arabic pieces, I even surprise myself with the extent I can understand. While it is still far far far away from perfect, this progress is something I’m excited to see grow in the future.
